Special Rental Conditions
The Booking Form (which can be downloaded from our website) should be accompanied by your deposit for one third of the total cost of the holiday. This can be in sterling or a euro cheque. However, if the euro cheque is drawn on a UK bank please add £12 to cover bank fees. A bankers draft in euros incurs no fees.
Cheques should be made payable to Mrs A Pace and sent to the same address as the Booking Form.
Payment in full must be sent at least 6 weeks before the arrival date or, in the case of late bookings, with the Booking Form.

We also require a separate cheque for £150 (except for Ref 1/sp and 2/sp which is £50) as a security deposit, which will be banked then refunded 2 weeks after the departure date. If the gite is left clean and there are no breakages it will be refunded in full.

All breakages must be paid for or replaced by the visitors. Any excess electricity charge will be deducted from this cheque if applicable.
If you require a cleaning service this can be arranged if you inform us before your departure or at the time of booking. The cost will be £25, please specify on the booking form if you require this service.
Bed linen, sheets, towels and tea towels are NOT provided and can be hired for £15 per set.

The gite is ready for occupation after 4 P.M. on the arrival day and must be vacated by 10 A.M. on the day of your departure.

Local Attractions
The Morbihan area is noted for its outstanding beauty, where almost one third of Brittanys coastline is to be found. Gorgeous sandy beaches and rocky coves abound, which are never overcrowded even in the Summer. The roads are unbelievably quiet even in the Peak season, which makes travelling around very easy. Parking is usually free.

There are many towns to be visited including Auray, a mediaeval town with an old port at St Goustan and superb restaurants. Pontivy and Josselin are famous for their chateaux, Vannes an old market town and port has a magnificent cathedral and lots of interesting shops and 2 markets a week. Lorient is a new town with a variety of shops, cinemas, restaurants and is host to the big Interceltic Music Festival at the beginning of August every year. Carnac, famous for its standing stones, has a marvellous sandy beach with games for the kids and an abundance of good seafood restaurants and creperies. The Gulf of Morbihan, with 365 islands, can only be described as beautiful and you can take a boat trip around them should you so desire.

For those of you who enjoy sport there are 7 golf courses in the area, fishing in any of the many rivers and lakes, boat hire on the lakes and rivers, horse riding, surf boarding, wind surfing, swimming or cycling. Bike hire is widely available especially on the coast. Most of the larger towns have a swimming pool.

Every town and village has a lovely church and, during the Summer months, you can usually find a ‘Pardon’ or village fete going on. You are always welcome to join in.
