Luxury apartment located on 3rd floor of a beautiful and quiet residence in an enclosed, large garden with automatic gate. There is also a private car park for residents. The building is actually the first hotel in Sainte Maxime, dating back to the beginning of last century. The rooms were converted into lovely apartments in the 1950s, which are perfectly situated 50 m away from the sea and a little beach. The town centre is only 300m away with cafes, restaurants, shops, covered market and Provencal church. The marina is also here and just a few steps away is the wonderful beach and casino.


The 130 sq/m apartment has been entirely refurbished and renovations were completed in August 2011, the first year we rented it. The apartment comprises both the living and dining rooms as well as a study-library, forming a 75 sqm covered space with balcony.
The property is south-oriented and boasts breathtaking panoramic sea views, and overlooks the Saint Tropez harbour. On the North side of the apartment and in front of the dining room, you will find a beautiful and spacious fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area. A door in the living room opens on the night area with main ensuite bedroom, guestroom, a separate bathroom and toilet. The kitchen windows overlook the lush villas gardens. The main bedroom and the guestroom are both real bedrooms but the study-library can also be turned in a true bedroom with its sofa hiding 2 pullout beds and therefore 2 comfortable and separate beddings. The 2 articulated big doors make it possible to have a 3rd separate room. Decoration and furniture are very modern and were given special care by the owners.


Sainte Maxime is a small town just in front of the most famous village of Saint Tropez, separated by the 2 or 3 km-wide Saint Tropez Gulf. Saint Tropez is well known for luxury properties, lovely sandy beaches, huge yachts, expensive shops and chic restaurants. At the bottom of the gulf, you will find 2 famous big marinas. Port Grimaud and the Marines de Cogolin are the Mecca of sailors and yachtsmen where as Saint Tropez attracts those from abroad with expensive taste.
In Summer, if you want to avoid the traffic jams, you can visit the gulf by boat with the shuttle connecting Sainte Maxime, Saint Tropez and Port Grimaud. The Verdon Gorge and its breathtaking canyon are also well worth a visit, as well as all the inland Provence villages.
