Holiday Detached French Longere in Neuilly-le-Vendin, Mayenne, France
This beautiful holiday cottage is situated on the D176 between the villages of Couptrain and Neuilly Le Vendin, both of which have a boulangerie. The cottage is just 8 miles from the beautiful spa town of Bagnoles de L'Orne.
The house offers its guest a good standard of accommodation, sleeping up to 9 people in a total of 4 bedrooms. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with its own dressing area and en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Along with a separate shower room, a games room can also be found on the first floor that also has a double bed in. Another spacious double bedroom can be found on the ground floor along with a single bedroom. Please note a cot is available on request.
There is a well equipped kitchen, spacious sitting room and the fact that there is a second shower room down stairs means that this property is suitable for those unable to use the stairs. A washing machine, vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment can be found in the utility room along with outside games and bbq equipment.
There is a wood burner in the living area to keep the house warm during the cooler months, plus there are electric heaters in most of the rooms. We do welcome children but extra care must be taken due to the wood burners and the open back stairs
The house is surrounded by a wonderful garden with a selection of tranquil places to sit and relax and enjoy this peaceful rural environment.
Roses adorn the cottage which make the garden really colourful during June and July. There is a stone built barbecue that our guest are welcome to use along with plenty of outdoor seating, sun loungers plus a garden table and chairs. It is perfect for relaxing and enjoying alfresco dining.
The spa town of Bagnoles de L’Orne is the nearest town where you will find supermarkets, banks, shops and cafes with many highly regarded restaurants. With so many things to do and places to visit during your stay it’s difficult to decide what to do and what to leave out.
