This self contained 90m2 gite will comfortably accomodate 4 people. It comprises two bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, shower room and living area. Fully equipped for your self catering needs, the kitchen has a cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. In the living area you will find a colour television with British TV channels via free view, a CD player and radio. There is also Wi-Fi Internet access available throughout the property.

Bedroom 1 has a large double bed and the second bedroom has a double and an additional single bed.

Outside the gite you will find a shared garden area with swings for our young guests, a summer kitchen and BBQ area, and a shared heated swimming pool. There is also access to secure parking.

Being located on the outskirts of the village of Nieul sur l'Autise with its famous Abbey means that the fresh French bread at the Boulengerie or a glass of red wine at the village hotel is just a 5 minutes stroll from the gite. A little further away will bring you to the nearby Marais Poitevin/Green Venice which offers canoeing and boating and is just 15 minutes away. With a local butchers, baker’s, small store, pharmacy, doctor, cash point in the village there is also a beautiful picnic area along with boules, basketball and tennis courts. There is some fantastic food to be enjoyed within the village of Nieul sur l'Autise itself, both the local Hotel and the Creperie offer a greats choice of menus. l'Escargot de Vendeen at Oulmes and numerous bars and restaurants in Fontenay le Comte offer a great choice of cuisine, something to suite every palette.
