great location”

The apartment was very clean & tidy in a great location, with lots of little bars & restaurants. A number of supermarkets around the corner, just a short walk to the promenade & about 5 mins to the train station so a good central location in all. The terrace is overlooked but that is only to be expected in that type of courtyard building, still great to have outside space & was not put off have our breakfast there. The beds including the sofa bed were very comfortable so great sleeps were had & its also very quiet. Carole & Christophe were very helpful. The only negative was there was no WIFI which is not good when you want to plan your day trip ahead or need information etc, there is only local tv, but that was fine as we don't watch tv anyway , Also no docking station for iPod .

“Wonderful Stay in Nice”

This apartment was fabulous. It is very well located on a quiet street and is just minutes from Vieux Ville and a ten minute walk from the train station. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well furnished. It was nice to find a welcome bottle of wine, as well as some staples - tea, milk, coffee, sugar.

“Excellent Location”

The apartment is in an ideal location; easy walking distance from the city centre, the old town and the railway station. We were a little puzzled by the complaints about the noise in the visitors book - yes, there was street noise during the night but isn't there always in a city location? And the net curtain argument? I can see the issue about lack of privacy when the shutters are open but net curtains would completely spoil the appearance of the windows. We just closed the shutters whilst we were getting changed so no problem. Neither of these things detracted from our enjoyment of our stay. The apartment building was everything you expect from a French apartment building: art deco entrance hall; concierge on guard; tiny lift; slightly dingy stairway; wrought ironwork; grand rooms - a real joy to come home to each day. We even found our way on to the roof for fantastic views and some beautiful wrought ironwork at the top of the lift shaft, brilliant. The bakery counter at the supermarket around the corner was another delight - you can't beat a fresh croissant for breakfast. The apartment was really easy to get to from the airport using the 98 bus - a real bonus. We returned to the airport using the 23 service, saving ourselves €9. The apartment was actually better equipped than we had expected - it's a shame we couldn't stay longer to make use of everything. Perhaps you could list the main amenities: iron, ironing board, hair-drier etc on your website. We would certainly consider staying here again if the opportunity arises.

“Great location”

The apartment had everything we needed - warm, comfortable and well equipped. The location was great - on the Promenade des Anglaise, shops and restaurants around the corner and the bus stop just outside the door to take us, not only to the airport but to Antibes on the wettest day of the year! A minor drawback was some rather noisy revelry outside during one night, but the rain soon put paid to that! Altogether a great base for our short break and I have already recommended it to friends - what higher praise?

“Lovely flat / location”

Lovely flat with the added benefit of a balcony, in a great location, easy walking distance to everything in Nice, and also 10 minutes from the train station to get out and see the rest of the Cote D'Azur. Highly recommended!!

“perfect place to stay”

The apartment was ideal and all you can hope for for your stay, all mod cons, quiet apartment block, comfortable bed, easy access to all of nice, less than 5 minute walk to the promenade, apprx 10 minute walk to main train station, a pleasant stroll to the old town, go out and explore nice, fabulous place, also we took trains to Cannes, Monaco, Menton, Villefrance sur mer and Beaulieu sur mer, all absolutely beautiful and well worth a trip, Castle Hill and the waterfall was a big like in our family too, a number of reasonably well proceed supermarkets near to the apartment, Already recommending to friends - we will be returning again some day .

“Magnifique!”

This was our first weekend away all together since the arrival of our twin baby girls, so I wanted to make sure that everything would work out fine. Result: everything exceeded my expectations! From the arrival - Claire was kind enough to allow us to check-in a little earlier and even helped us with the luggage. The place: a really cozy renovated Art Nouveau apartment with a confortable bed and sofa-bed, perfectly equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom (with a shower that has the perfect pressure) and, last but certainly not least, an amazing terrace overlooking the quiet courtyard with a beautiful dining table where we had our breakfast (great boulangeries and minimarkets around the corner) and aperitifs (thank you Steve and Carole for the wonderful bottle of Rosè you had there greeting our arrival). Rue Maccarani is walking distance to everything you need in Nice - we did it with a double pram and a 3 year old! Good thing that there isn't a WiFi otherwise we probably wouldn't have moved out!

“Perfect location, beautiful apartment, terrace a big plus.”

For our first trip to Nice we chose this place as it seemed to have everything we wanted - was close to the action but not too close, looked to be well kept and clean, and it had a terrace. We were not disappointed. Directions to the place were very good, we found it no problem and we received a lovely friendly welcome from Claire. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, the all important air con, and a gorgeous, peaceful terrace where we could read, enjoy our meals and just chill out after strolling around the wonderful city. A straight five minutes walk brings you to the Promenade and yet the street the apartment is on is quiet - facing a lovely park. Had some fab food while in Nice but most surprising was the amazing takeaway pizza we got in the tiny place over to the left when you exit the apartment building. €5.50 including a drink. One of the best we've ever had! Loved everything about this place, would recommend it highly.

“A very nice stay in Nice!”

The apartment was perfectly located close to all that we wanted see and do. It was great to be personally welcomed! The lift was appreciated after a long day exploring Nice and beyond. Proximity to the beach was fantastic - many evenings spent on the Promenade. The terrace was a great asset - many meals enjoyed under the parasol. We would not hesitate to recommend the apartment to family and friends.

“Ideal location”

The apartment was ideally located for the main Nice train station, where we arrived, and, although we took a taxi on arrival,we walked back on our departure. There are handy supermarkets close by as well as the extensive main shopping area of Nice.In addition there are an abundance of restaurants and cafes as well as the Promenade des Anglais and main square(Place Massena) so you will be able to enjoy the delights of Nice very easily even if you have not previously visited. The apartment was well equipped, clean and the area is very quiet so you should not suffer disturbed nights. Katy, the owners' daughter, was there to meet us and was very approachable. We used the train station to visit Monaco,Menton,Antibes and Juan les Pins and this was very straight forward. All in all we had a super time and would be more than happy to recommend this property.
