River Cottage is a beautifully put together rental opportunity. It has been tastefully renovated throughout; working around the original features of this charming Normandy Cottage. The ground floor is open plan. The kitchen has an American-kitchen style design with bar. It is fitted with all modern conveniences and appliances too. The dining room has seating to accommodate 10 guests. The living area has TV, DVD, Satellite TV, CD, Video player & stereo system. There are also two large comfortable sofas.

On both floors you’ll find 2 bedrooms – all of which enjoy en-suite facilities. The bedrooms are equipped as follows: Bedroom 1 - 1 Large Double Bed, En-suite with tv , Bedroom 2 - 1 Single Bed, 1 Double Bed, Desk with playstation 2, tv/dvd,Bedroom 3 - 1 Cot, 1 Large Double Bed, En-suite with stereo, Bedroom 4 - 1 Extra Lg. Outside there is plenty to amuse all the family including: child's swing, boat, canoes, bicycles and there is a walkway to the river. For dining alfresco there is a barbecue, table and chairs and also 10 garden chairs.

River Cottage is situated on the banks of the river Orne, the fish in the river is in abundance and you can see all species of wildlife including hawks, eagles and kingfishers and there is beaver like creatures called coypua. The area is on the cider route and there are lots of local bars and restaurants to tempt you! We are a short drive from Clecy where you can spend a day on the river on just sitting in the bar watching the hang gliders jump off pain-de Sucre, or you can have an exhilarating walk to the magnificent view point overlooking the Orne.
