If you wish to have an authentic "vieux maison" in France away from the bustle of the cities, this is it! Be prepared to feel as if you are part of the very region that gives France the fame for beautiful scenery, quaint "villages" in the Burgundy region that is noted over the world for it's wines and food. You will be staying in a 200 year old farmhouse. Comfortable, accommodating and very reminiscent of French history. The cities of Beaune and Autun are nearby and offer all anyone could wish for tourism. Do not miss this one!

The two weeks we stayed at Le Mizeux were very relaxing. The drive into the Park Morvan approaching the house takes you into another world of verdant farmland where the famous white cows grazing endlessly.

The farmhouse was comfortable and spacious with a huge pink marble shower! The bedrooms were spacious with lovely windows looking out onto a large fig tree and the lawn. After finding everything, it felt like home. We cooked most dinners there after long day trips. There is so much to do in the area. Beaune and drives along the canals are a must.

One could spend hours watching the numerous kitties playing about the area. I couldn't resist buying cat food for them. I became very popular with the feline population.

The caretakers, Val and Paul were most attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed.

We are definitely going back!
