Holiday Gite to rent on Brittany / Normandy Border, near Mont St Michel
Beautifully renovated farm situated on the Normandy/Brittany border, 6 miles from Le Mont St. Michel and only half an hour from the picturesque Normandy and Brittany beaches. It has been carefully restored to a very high standard, ideal for a relaxing break. The gites are set in 12 private acres of enchanting natural beauty, offering distinctive charm and comfort. The homes are the perfect location to relax and unwind or as a base for finding your own piece of France.
The properties are also ideally placed for visitng the D-day beaches, St. Malo, Rennes and dozens of other tourist attractions. Nestling in the tranquil hamlet of Les Chaliers, near Macey, the gites have easy access to the near-by market towns of Pontorson and Saint James, offering bars, restaurants, shops and banks. Visit the nearby city of Avranches which offers even more. The gites enjoy fully equipped kitchens, dining rooms and large living rooms including washing machines, highchairs and cots available on request. There is also wheelchair access, 24 hour access, onsite management, a BBQ area and we allow pets to stay.
Easy access from channel ports. Le Havre 2 hours, Cherbourg 1 hour and 30 minutes, Caen 1 hour, Saint Malo half an hour and Dinard airport is half an hour away.
Gite 3: The Barn:
The gite has retained many of its original features including wooden floors and exposed beams.
Downstairs offers a lovely raised kitchen, making cooking a family event. This room also boasts an original fireplace and living area, as well as the added convenience of a downstairs toilet and basin.
Upstairs includes a shower, WC and hand basin. The master bedroom has exposed beams and a skylight. There is another bedroom with double bed and one single bed, plus bunk beds in the third bedroom. A futon makes up part of the living area downstairs which makes this gite a great place for up to 9 people to stay.
