Affordable Waterfront French holiday house in Lot Valley, Southwest France
Domaine Madeleine II is the successor to our original 4-star Domaine Madeleine in the USA’s Pacific Northwest.
We have now recreated in the heart of the Lot valley, in southwestern France, the same high standard of gracious hospitality. Domaine Madeleine II consists of a peaceful bi-level house divided into two separate apartments, with street parking in front of the private entrances. The rental apartment is completely equipped for self-catering, including all linens & the basic staples for your cooking needs. The owners occupy the second one and are always available to respond to your wants.
From its terrace, directly overlooking the river and the valley, the apartment has a view of sunrises and sunsets.
The area has over 420 recognized sites including prehistoric caves, the longest navigable underground river of Europe, medieval castles, cathedrals and quaint old villages, such as Rocamadour, one of the most visited sites in France.
