Planche Cottages comprise three stunning properties which are perfectly suited for couples. The cottages can be rented separately or together as one large house, ideal for families, groups or friends sharing. The grounds are a web of pathways leading to secluded places such as the little summer house, the pergola, hammocks, magical places to unwind. We are completely private, perfect to take in the hush of nature and valley beyond. Each cottage has it's own outdoor area as well as the deck which is a cool 'under-the-trees' hang out. There are many wonderful attractions nearby, including several fine restaurants, beaches and lakes. Bordeaux, Perigueux and Bergerac are all nearby and well worth a visit. The area is lovely for taking walks.
BAREFOOT COTTAGE:
This cottage has a well equipped kitchen that leads out to the garden - great for al fresco dining.
There are two floors:
Upstairs; a double bedroom with window facing the leafy garden, bathroom with bath and shower and large antique mirror.
The kitchen; the sink window over looks a valley of forest, farm land and lovely old roman roof tiles.

We are blessed with many great attractions, many good restaurants just minutes away, city scapes with beautiful achitecture like Bordeaux, Perigueux and Bergerac. White sandy beaches of the lake at La Jemaye for swimming.
There are lovely walks in the area, but perhaps our favourite is the 25 minute walk to our local restaurant where we can reward ourselves with a coffee or a delicious meal.
All the favorites, cycling, horse riding, walks, fishing and bird watching.
