On the Ground Floor you’ll find the Entrance Lobby which leads to the Kitchen which is fitted with all modern appliances including: fridge, gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster, crockery and glassware.


The Dining/Sitting Room retains its original exposed stonewalls, beams and old terracotta tiled floor. It is furnished with a settee, easy chair, table, chairs, coffee table, bookcase and radio/CD player. You’ll find wood burning stove and large panoramic windows on two sides. Door leading to patio.


Upstairs, there is a Landing with storage cupboard/wardrobe. A Bedroom with double bed, bedside chests, dressing table and easy chair. Exposed stonewall and dormer window with views across the valley to the east. The shower room has a w.c. vanity basin, and walk-in tiled shower. Bed linen and towels are provided and a hairdryer.


Outside there is undercover parking. A private patio with garden table, chairs and parasol. A further sitting area with BBQ. Sun loungers are available.


Use of owners garden and small (above ground) pool, ideal for cooling off on hot days.


Bicycles and a universal bike rack are available at no extra charge.


Viry is a small rural village, there are no shops, but it does have a Romanesque church, with a 16th Century stain-glass window. There is the possibility to fish along the banks of the little river Arconce which flows around the village on its way to Charolles 7 kms to the west. Charolles is a pretty market town, the birth place of the world famous white Charolais cattle. In the town you will find top quality restaurants, cafes, boulangeries-patisseries, chocolatiers and supermarchés. There is a traditional French market held on Wednesday mornings in the town centre, but don't dally as it ends at 12noon!
