Charming 2 bedroom Loire cottage rental can accommodate up to 4 guests and is ideally situated just 15 minutes walk from the pretty village of Faye-d`Anjou in the Coteau du Layon area of the Loire valley, France.

The accommodation of Hyrome cottage features an entrance door giving access to the sitting room with large sofa, dining table and chairs. This leads through an archway to the well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven, kettle and coffee maker. Stairs from the kitchen lead upstairs to the bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has twin beds, whilst Bedroom 2 has a double bed. There is also a bathroom with a bath, shower and WC on this floor.

The well maintained grounds of the cottage boast a large shared swimming pool, which is available to guests from June until September. There is also a large garden for a game of boules or to find a quiet spot to relax or sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful views. The owners of the cottage have thoughtfully supplied a BBQ to create your culinary masterpieces and a selection of bikes to explore their surroundings on the quiet country lanes.

Guests of Hyrome cottage are situated within easy reach of the local village where there is a patisserie, boulangerie, mini-market and bar. The pretty village of Thouarcé has a larger selection of shops and a supermarket, it is located just a 5 minute drive away.

The local area is perfect for numerous outdoor activities such as walking, cycling. Nearby is Brissac-Quincé boasting a lovely chateau and beautiful grounds, restaurants, horse riding, bike hire, and golf. The historic town of Angers has a fortified castle, wonderful tapestries and an excellent selection of shops. Saumur, famous for its chateau, sparkling wine, and home to the Cadre Noir is just a 35 min drive.

A variety of water sports like swimming and canoeing can be found at Rochefort-sur-Loire and is 20 minute drive away. Le Puy du Fou is a fantastic attraction for guests of all agesand offers a selection of wonderful historical shows ranging from Roman circus games to world-class falconry.
